ArpBud 2 offers a comprehensive MIDI Arpeggiator application that enables users to craft distinctive arp patterns for the arpeggiation of preferred software or hardware synthesizers.

Setting it apart from conventional up/down style arpeggiators, ArpBud 2 allows for the creation of custom patterns with an infinite number of steps. Each step enables customization of note interval, velocity, octave, ratchet, gate, and probability. Additionally, the app features a robust randomizer function for any step across all modes.

Users can generate an unlimited number of patterns within a project and assign different note rates and swing values to each pattern. It offers the flexibility to incorporate MIDI CC messages from external apps for altering the playing pattern.

Within the settings menu, various parameters can be configured, including MIDI CC assignment for pattern changes, maximum interval numbers, randomizer settings, and knob control configurations.

ArpBud 2 dynamically responds to pattern changes and step adjustments in real-time during live performances, making it an invaluable tool for both live performances and arp design.

The application supports standalone mode, IAA (Inter-App Audio) mode, Audiobus mode, and AUv3 Audio Unit plugin mode, while also being compatible with Ableton Live.

It is important to note that ArpBud 2 functions as a MIDI effect tool and does not generate sound independently; hence, it requires both MIDI input and output connections to operate effectively.

• Connect a MIDI source such as a MIDI keyboard, chord sequencer, or any other MIDI app to supply ArpBud 2's sequencer with input.
• Establish a connection between ArpBud 2 and any MIDI-compatible audio app.
• Activate ArpBud 2's sequencer. For standalone or Audiobus/IAA versions, press the play button located in the top right corner. In the case of the AUv3 plugin, initiate playback using the play button in your host app.
